This track first appeared on The Mysterious Deadbeats - Kiss Of Death album. We actually pressed up 60 physical copies of the album, both burning cd's and cutting and printing the covers ourselves. Ahh, the joys of D.I.Y Punk, and as with the EP before it, we also made it available online, as a free 'legitimate' legal download through Megaupload, shock, horror!!!! We also re-recorded this song again during our time as 'Joy Of 6', but this original version will always be the definitive version of the track, in our humble and rather self important opinions!

Asleep in no where’s land waiting for the days curtain call
Were they once just like us? It’s been so long they can’t recall
They watch us as we try to save our hopeless tortured souls
It won’t be long now before time ravages, takes its toll

Out from the shadows with a gleeful immortality
Can we really believe in all of the things that we see?
A wilful stare, just outta sight
Arise the creatures of the night

Pain anguish and desire
locked up, howling wails a desperate cry
Jealous of our life force, it makes us something they despise
They wait for unsuspecting souls to wander through their place
This looking glass hides the look of distain upon their pale white face

Nocturnal gazes hide under this barren, poisoned landscape
